Cardiovascular Interventions is proud to announce that Dr. Jamnadas is one of two cardiologists in Central Florida approved to implant the new CardioMems HF System!

The CardioMems HF System is a wirelessly transmitting device designed to monitor and record pressure in the pulmonary artery. The device is permanently placed in the pulmonary artery during an ordinary cardiac catheterization, and the patient then takes daily readings from home (via pillow!), which the provider can analyze via an online database and make changes in medication to preempt hospitalization. Recent research has shown strong clinical evidence that the CardioMems device is associated with a 37% reduction in hospital admissions for Heart Failure! This is the first and only FDA-approved heart failure monitoring device.

Ask your provider about CardioMems during your next visit!
