Telemedicine Services Update
Medicare and insurance companies have extended the coverage of telemedicine visits until further notice.
Established patients of Cardiovascular Interventions can request a telemedicine visit with one of our providers by clicking here or by call our office during regular business hours at 407-894-4880. We can then schedule a window of time you can expect a call from a CVI provider to initiate a telemedicine visit.
Maintaining continuity of care can avoid additional negative consequences from delayed preventive, chronic, or routine care. Do not hesitate to call our office for more information and an appointment. You can be assured CVI will always have your health and safety as our first priority.
Telemedicine technology is frequently used for follow-up visits, management of chronic conditions, medication management, specialist consultation for known patients and a host of other clinical services that can be provided remotely via secure video and audio connections. Patients with smart phones can be scheduled for a video chat with a provider to address most patient issues. Providers can order further testing as necessary and any results discussed in a telemedicine visit can be made available through the patient portal.
