Dr. Jodi Jakiel DACBSP, MS

 

Biography

Dr. Jodi Jakiel is a chiropractic physician and functional medicine provider with over 20 years of experience in metabolic health, lifestyle-based care, and sports medicine. She specializes in helping patients address root causes of chronic conditions such as insulin resistance, inflammation, and hormonal imbalances through personalized education and integrative treatment strategies.

She holds a Doctor of Chiropractic and a Master’s in Sport Science from Life University, is a board-certified Diplomate in Sports Medicine (DABCSP™), and is completing certification in Functional Medicine (July 2025). Her background spans private practice and national-level athletics, including service as a traveling physiotherapist with USA Volleyball, where she was named USAVB Provider of the Year in 2023.

Dr. Jakiel’s approach blends conventional and functional medicine, offering evidence-based guidance in nutrition, movement, and lifestyle interventions that support cardiovascular and metabolic health. With additional training in acupuncture and therapeutic stress-reduction techniques, she creates individualized care plans that address the whole person—body, mind, and metabolism.
