Holistic approach includes access to Cath lab and ECP procedure

ORLANDO, Fla. (Aug. XX, 2014) – Cardiovascular Interventions (CVI) offers a state-of-the-art total cardiac health facility and staff. Founded by Dr. Pradip Jamnadas, who recently received recognition as a “Top Doc” in Central Florida by Castle Connolly Medical Ltd., the practice continues to grow in its depth and breadth of services offered related to the heart.

“It’s exciting that we can offer our patients so many different out-patient heart-related services under one roof,” said Jamnadas. “Our mission is to provide to our patients personalized, cost-effective, state-of-the-art cardiology care … with an emphasis on prevention.”

The following procedures are changing the way patients can utilize services at a private facility:

  • Cardiac catheterization (heart cath) – CVI patients have the convenience of outpatient services for diagnostic coronary and interventional peripheral procedures. By inserting a long, thin, flexible tube called a catheter into a blood vessel your doctor can perform diagnostic tests and treatments on your heart. All procedures are same day discharge and are performed by a friendly, well-trained team of professionals.
  • External Counter Pulsation (ECP) – This non-invasive, FDA approved, outpatient therapy helps them address the persistent symptoms of chest pain due to blockages in the coronary arteries. ECP quickly stimulates the formation of collateral blood vessels to help create a natural bypass around narrowed or blocked arteries to improve coronary blood flow with no significant side effects. ECP improves the quality of life by reducing the symptoms of chest pain, shortness of breath and fatigue.

CVI’s 12,000 sq. ft. facility houses a variety of state-of-the-art technology advancements and equipment that aid in the diagnosis treatment of cardiac conditions and assists in developing the most sophisticated cardiac treatment plans.
