Urgent Care
Central Florida's First Cardiac Clinic with Urgent Care Services
For Cardiovascular Interventions, this has been one of the most rewarding aspects of providing cardiology care today. The Walk-in Cardiac Care Center, part of Cardiovascular Interventions, is the first of its kind in Orlando. Here, our walk-in service provides similar investigation and management when compared to a hospital emergency room visit at a fraction of the cost and in a more efficient manner.
Our state-of-the-art cardiology walk-in care saves hundreds of thousands of dollars a month in high cost hospital admissions, and co-pays. Importantly, patients spend less time off work and return to normal activities. Even self paying patients realize how affordable our rates are.
The Walk-in care services are provided between 8:30 AM and 3:30 PM, Monday to Friday, and we participate in most insurances.
PLEASE NOTE: This is NOT a traditional Urgent Care Center treating any and all ailments. Our walk-in services are ONLY for cardiac related symptoms.
Walk-in Care for Active Cardiac Symptoms
Many symptoms that lead patients to urgent care visits are of cardiovascular origin. Because our facility focuses on a holistic approach to cardiac care, we are perfectly situated to fully diagnose these conditions right in our office.
These cardiac symptoms include:
- Feeling light headed
- Dizziness and fainting
- Palpitations
- Chest pain or discomfort
- Shortness of breath
- High blood pressure
- Leg pain or swelling
- Weakness
On-Site diagnostic tools:
- X-rays
- CT scan
- Stress testing
- Full spectrum ultrasound studies
- Comprehensive blood tests
- Expert evaluation by a fully trained cardiology team.
Walk-in Care with a History of Cardiovascular Disease
Patients with a past history of cardiovascular diseases with active cardiac symptoms cannot wait days or weeks before being seen. Additionally, an emergency room visit will almost invariably result in hospitalization, which may be totally unnecessary. We have therefore created the state-of-the-art evaluation for these patients so that their care can be expedited, treatment given, diagnostic tests performed, expert cardiology care given, and return the patient to the comfort of their own the home with appropriate follow-up as well.
