Medicare and insurance companies have extended the telemedicine visits availability until further notice. Established patients of Cardiovascular Interventions can now request a telemedicine visit with one of our providers by clicking here or calling the office during regular business hours at 407-894-4880. We can then schedule a window of time you can expect a call from a CVI provider to initiate a telemedicine visit.
Telemedicine technology is frequently used for follow-up visits, management of chronic conditions, medication management, specialist consultation for known patients and a host of other clinical services that can be provided remotely via secure video and audio connections. Patients with smart phones can be scheduled for a video chat with a provider to address most patient issues. Providers can order further testing as necessary and any results discussed in a telemedicine visit can be made available through the patient portal.
